Because we are as industrious as these useful little animals and have made them our company mascot. We even have a 3m tall, blue specimen in our office. We were also busy on Friday, April 25, when around 300 visitors explored our production facilities between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.. In addition, school classes from the secondary schools in Götzis, Klaus and Rankweil Ost visited us in the morning to get a taste of an industrial company as a possible future training path. Our apprentices and everyone in the team provided information about our work processes, explained the large machines and what it takes for a plastic part to come out of the machine. A frisbee, for example, was produced live in front of the visitors, who were of course allowed to take it home with them as a souvenir. Combs were also produced and our cross knot was freshly applied. There were also "souvenirs" in the tool shop. You could take a bottle opener straight from the milling machine and have your name lasered onto it. And our Lercher magnets and shopping cart chips were available in the color of your choice. Our 3D printers were also running at full speed, with which we demonstrated how quickly prototypes, for example, can be produced today. We were really pleased that some former team members stopped by. We were also delighted to welcome the families of our employees, who were able to gain an impression of their relatives' work on this day. After the many impressions, our visitors were able to fortify themselves with sausages and drinks. Some interested young people found our production and the many machines really cool and, when asked about them, at least considered an apprenticeship with us. And a taster appointment was also arranged. A huge thank you at this point to our team, who represented their workplace and our company with a great deal of expertise and pride.

677 km to the medical technology market
The market is rarely on your doorstep. In medical technology in particular, it is therefore essential to seek contact at international industry meeting points. And that's what we did again this year at COMPAMED in Düsseldorf, for example.

Lots of kisses at FAKUMA.
Plastic is and remains the material from which the future is built. The industry met for the 29th time at this year's FAKUMA international trade fair for plastics processing in Friedrichshafen from October 15 to 19. Over 1,600 exhibitors presented their products and system solutions to around 36,000 visitors over the five days of the trade fair.

Tackling challenges yourself. Our youngsters 2024.
In September 2024, four youngsters started their apprenticeship at Lercher and thus entered a new phase in their lives. Because "earning your own money" - according to one of the new starters - also generally means shaping your own life more now.

Over 350 came and marveled
It was a really good feeling - finally an open day almost like before the pandemic. As part of the WIGE Vorderland "Region of the Open Door" event, we also presented our company to the general public on Friday, April 22. More than 350 visitors came to find out what actually happens behind the façade of our company building. The longest journey was probably made by a prominent guest from Vienna.

beam me up....
into the high-tech world of Lercher.
That's what five young people thought again in September 2021 as they start their careers with us. And this will lead them into an industry with enormous opportunities for the future. Pascal from Altach sees accuracy and creativity as his personal strengths. He can certainly score points with us. During his school days, he got a taste of our plastics department and became enthusiastic about the subject. Now the handball player, who plays for HC Hohenems, wants to become a plastics molder. His club colleague Niklas from Altach not only shares his love of handball, but also his enthusiasm for our green plastic-part-spitting monsters. Concentrated and independent work - that's what he likes. And after three taster sessions at other companies, he has also taken a liking to the team at Lercher. Welcome to the team.

INLERCHER 2020
Our annual INLERCHER is here!
A look back at the operational events of the past year (2020) - for employees, customers, suppliers and friends of the company.

The next generation of professionals
In September, seven new apprentices started their careers at Lercher. Three boys want to become toolmaking technicians, just as many plus one girl want to learn about plastics. This brings our total number of apprentices to 25.

Nightly screams
It is the middle of the night. Beams of light from flashlights flit across the machines and through the corridors at Lercher. Three figures wander through our production area and seem to be looking for something. A huge ant trail winds its way along the floor of the plastic injection molding machines. Then you hear screams - again and again.
