Girls' Day 2026 - Girl Power!

This year saw record-breaking attendance: Over 300 curious visitors flocked to our facility on April 10! As always, there was plenty to marvel at: from massive industrial machinery and high-tech equipment from the ground floor to the top, to our skilled staff, who enthusiastically explained all the processes.

At the 2026 Job Fair at FHV Vorarlberg, we were once again able to take away plenty of valuable input. Every year, the exchange with students, job seekers, and other interested visitors is a great source of inspiration for us.

At the 31st “full wild” VDWF managing directors’ meeting on February 4 and 5, 2026, in Vorarlberg, the future of tool and mold making took center stage: motivation, market resilience, AI, and smart crisis management. By coach, VDWF members traveled to top companies such as Lercher Werkzeugbau, Meusburger, and Hirschmann Automotive. The event offered a deep dive into the world of precision tooling in the four-country region of Vorarlberg.

A weekend full of impressions, inspiring conversations, and fresh perspectives. At the i-Messe 2025, visitors had the chance to experience the world of technical professions up close – and of course, we were there too.

With our bold slogan "We are shy", we attracted a lot of attention at the Moulding Expo in Stuttgart. After all, trade fair visitors are used to superlatives and exhibitors patting themselves on the back.

We did a lot of advertising for our Open Day 2025 - including posters featuring one of our apprentices with an ant's head.

The market is rarely on your doorstep. In medical technology in particular, it is therefore essential to seek contact at international industry meeting points. And that's what we did again this year at COMPAMED in Düsseldorf, for example.

Plastic is and remains the material from which the future is built. The industry met for the 29th time at this year's FAKUMA international trade fair for plastics processing in Friedrichshafen from October 15 to 19. Over 1,600 exhibitors presented their products and system solutions to around 36,000 visitors over the five days of the trade fair.

In September 2024, four youngsters started their apprenticeship at Lercher and thus entered a new phase in their lives. Because "earning your own money" - according to one of the new starters - also generally means shaping your own life more now.

It was a really good feeling - finally an open day almost like before the pandemic. As part of the WIGE Vorderland "Region of the Open Door" event, we also presented our company to the general public on Friday, April 22. More than 350 visitors came to find out what actually happens behind the façade of our company building. The longest journey was probably made by a prominent guest from Vienna.

That's what five young people thought again in September 2021 as they start their careers with us. And this will lead them into an industry with enormous opportunities for the future. Pascal from Altach sees accuracy and creativity as his personal strengths. He can certainly score points with us. During his school days, he got a taste of our plastics department and became enthusiastic about the subject. Now the handball player, who plays for HC Hohenems, wants to become a plastics molder. His club colleague Niklas from Altach not only shares his love of handball, but also his enthusiasm for our green plastic-part-spitting monsters. Concentrated and independent work - that's what he likes. And after three taster sessions at other companies, he has also taken a liking to the team at Lercher. Welcome to the team.

A look back at the operational events of the past year (2020) - for employees, customers, suppliers and friends of the company.

In September, seven new apprentices started their careers at Lercher. Three boys want to become toolmaking technicians, just as many plus one girl want to learn about plastics. This brings our total number of apprentices to 25.

It is the middle of the night. Beams of light from flashlights flit across the machines and through the corridors at Lercher. Three figures wander through our production area and seem to be looking for something. A huge ant trail winds its way along the floor of the plastic injection molding machines. Then you hear screams - again and again.
