But there's also fresh blood for our toolmaking department. David from Altach got a taste of a few companies during his time at Poly in Dornbirn. Then - at the suggestion of a friend - he took a look at our company. And found the Lercher team hard-working but friendly. Despite his apprenticeship as a toolmaking technician, he still hopes to have enough free time for his hobbies of martial arts and motocross riding. Luca from Klaus now comes to us every morning on his bike. He practically lives in the neighborhood and his career aspirations are just right for us, as he was already enthusiastic about technical work at school. Of course, he can now live this to the full as a toolmaking apprentice. As a balance to his job, he enjoys swimming (at the Bludenz Swimming Club) and skiing. Once again this year, we are delighted that a girl has opted for our technical world of work. Sandra from Götzis has already had a taste of several technical sectors during her time at Poly. With math and technical drawing as her favorite subjects, she is well equipped for a career as a toolmaking technician. In her free time, she enjoys ice skating, dancing and training with her dog. During her taster session at Lercher, she particularly liked the variety in the work and that there was always someone there to explain the work processes.
We are delighted to welcome our 2021 youngsters to the Lercher team.
